Happy Six Sentence Sunday! Picking up where we left off, I am here to share a snippet from my current WIP and Brianna’s first encounter with the old woman who runs a local bookstore. Brianna’s world is spinning out of control. Greer is gone and she’s not sure where to turn so she heads to the place where she first met him….

For that matter, it felt absurd to have such distrustful feelings for an elderly woman that couldn’t even manage standing on her own feet but the glimmer in the woman’s eyes made Brianna feel like the woman was capable of things that she could only just begin to imagine. After all, her world suddenly involved demons and ghosts and ex-boyfriends that once were human but later turned into something else. What next? Ninja grandmas?
“I do.”
“Could you tell me?…”

LOL!!! Ninja Grandmas! That was great, Stephanie! Great 6!
Thanks, L.J. 🙂
Her world is most definitely a magnet for the strang and unusual. A creepy old woman in a bookstore just adds to the mix. Hmmm. I wonder how she’ll turn out to be involved.
Definitely sounds like her world got turned on its head!
What a cool excerpt! I gotta say, I love the idea of Ninja grandmas! This definitely sounds like it’s gonna be a wild ride! 🙂
Ooh! Creepy! I sure hope this particular old lady is one of the good guys.
This six does a great job of showing what your character is all about, I Love it and cannot wait to read further. I definitely want more.
An old woman in a bookstore – what could be more perfect! Like your six, Stephanie, and love the ninja grandma line. 🙂
Very nice! The bookstore, the creepy old woman. A perfect mix if I’ve ever seen one. I liked your six, thanks for sharing.
Thanks everyone for taking the time to read and comment. I can’t wait to share more than six sentences at a time. Soon… very soon… 😉
